An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to join our team as Health Information Coordinator.
The Health Information Coordinator advises on, supports and co-ordinates the production of health information developed by NHS Tayside staff, to ensure it is of high quality and of benefit to the recipients. They are responsible for management of the Patient and Staff Information Intranet/Internet sites and specific pieces of clinical governance work as agreed through objectives.
The team works alongside all staff to enable them to deliver their own Patient Safety, Clinical Governance and Risk Management activities. This ensures we are facilitating safe, effective and person-centred care. We provide training, education, tools, resources and advice focused upon delivering in key areas.
We will provide training and supervision to develop your skills in clinical governance, risk management, patient safety and quality improvement.
The successful applicant should have excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills and have the ability to prioritise work appropriately within a busy team working towards tight deadlines.
The post may require travel across NHS Tayside.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
Hours of work are: 37 hours per week.
