An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Unscheduled Care Clinical Service Manager who is absolutely committed to enhancing patient care, through the efficient and effective management of clinical services within Raigmore Hospital, Inverness.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of the multi-disciplinary team incorporating operational, strategic and quality aspects combined with the future development of the service. The post holder will, as part of a team of multi-disciplinary staff, provide a service for Raigmore Hospital in line with the strategy for NHS Highland. This will include medical, allied health professionals, nursing and clerical staff. You will work with colleagues in the hospital and across NHS Highland in developing a vision for allocated services, leading ongoing review and redesign of the service to meet the needs of patients in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will be responsible for the service budget, clearly demonstrating a sound understanding of Financial Governance and Risk Management, and for the management of staff to ensure staffing levels meet service delivery needs.
What we’re looking for:
Applicants must be able to demonstrate a real commitment to working across all relevant aspects of the service, showing an ability to enthuse, motivate and give commitment to meeting exacting deadlines. Previous experience of operational management is desired along with evidence of excellent personal organisational and communication skills.
A demonstrable commitment to improving the services we provide to patients is absolutely essential.
