Job summary As a Occupational Therapist Stroke And General Rehabilitation, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centered care and services to support individuals and teams. Main duties of the job Managing a designated caseload of patients, ensuring effective prioritization and time management. Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and developing individualized treatment plans. Performing highly specialized therapeutic handling techniques to improve patient function and mobility. Utilizing validated outcome measures to evaluate treatment effectiveness. Leading goal-oriented rehabilitation programs in collaboration with patients, carers, and the multidisciplinary team. Providing clinical leadership, training, and supervision to junior staff, assistants, and students. Acting as a source of specialist advice for occupational therapy interventions. Facilitating effective interdisciplinary communication to optimize patient care and discharge planning. Writing detailed reports and referrals with therapeutic and discharge recommendations.
