We are currently looking for 2 new colleagues to join our friendly, busy Continuing Healthcare (CHC) admin team where colleagues work together to meet the needs of the service.
The post holder will play a key role in supporting the CHC service by providing an effective and competent level of clerical support in a client-focused service.
Our ideal candidates will have excellent administration experience with working knowledge of MS Office packages; however, we would also welcome applications from those who have recently studied business/IT and are looking for their first role.
You will have good interpersonal and communication skills to deal with sensitive and confidential information. Be able to use your own initiative and also work as part of the wider administration team and demonstrate a willingness to help others.
You will be required to work from our offices with flexibility to work part of the week virtually from home if you wish. We can provide the appropriate IT equipment; however, there is an expectation that you will have a suitable home environment in which to work from.
Main duties of the job
In this role, you will be dealing with CHC applications for numerous funding streams, all of which follow varying policy and processes that require ongoing administration support to ensure an excellent service to all users.
You will be involved in dealing with day-to-day queries by telephone and email; creating and maintaining electronic records on our databases and filing systems; completing and sending correspondence. You will also need to maintain confidentiality of information relating to service users and deal with calls in an empathetic and sensitive manner.

Qualifications
* Educated to Level 3 or equivalent relevant qualification or significant proven experience in a similar role
* Evidence of continued personal development
Experience
* Working experience of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
* Previous experience of working in an administrative environment using computerised data systems
* Previous experience of providing and receiving complex and sensitive information
