Revenue and Assurance Process Lead The Revenue Assurance team at Calor Gas plays a critical role in safeguarding the accuracy and completeness of our revenue streams. By building strong controls, we identify, analyse, and mitigate potential revenue leakage, ensuring financial health, supporting growth objectives, and meeting our legal and regulatory obligations. We are currently looking for a Revenue Assurance Control and Process Lead to join our team. This role is key to designing, developing, and optimizing the revenue assurance controls that safeguard our revenue streams. You will work closely with Finance, Operations, and IT teams to identify control requirements, analyse existing processes, and implement mechanisms that prevent revenue leakage and inaccuracies. Key Responsibilities: Implement and manage a comprehensive control framework to monitor, address, and prevent revenue leakage. This includes risk assessments, audit procedures, and automated controls to ensure revenue accuracy and compliance. Lead audits of the Order to Cash (OTC) journey, providing feedback to senior management and driving improvements. Oversee change management processes related to revenue assurance, ensuring that controls evolve with business and regulatory changes. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, working with key stakeholders to identify and address risks in the OTC journey. Work with the wider Revenue Assurance team to support the Data & BI lead in sourcing data for controls and train the Pricing and Compliance Analysts in conducting assurance activities. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes that impact revenue, adapting controls as necessary to remain compliant. Key Skills, Experience & Knowledge: Essential: Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing revenue assurance controls, preferably in a large or complex organization. Strong ability to collaborate with Finance, Operations, and IT teams to design and implement control solutions that address risks and inefficiencies. Experience analysing processes and controls for improvement opportunities and ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Hands-on experience implementing and monitoring control mechanisms to prevent revenue inaccuracies. Proficiency in creating detailed documentation (e.g., process flowcharts, control matrices, and risk assessments) and preparing reports for senior management. Experience conducting audits and reviews of control effectiveness, and implementing improvements based on findings. Desirable: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field. 3 years of experience in Revenue Assurance, Finance, or related areas. Familiarity with Data Analytics and BI. Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
