Cover Supervisor (Predominantly EYFS and KS1) (E7122) - Birchfield Primary School
Cover Supervisor - 32.5 hours per week
Birchfield Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly skilled cover supervisor to work across all key stages in school providing support to individuals, groups and whole classes.
The role will involve:
1. Working under the direction of the class teacher to support individual children with special educational needs and also with small groups of children who require additional support or intervention.
2. Providing classroom cover in the absence of the class teacher.
3. Covering teacher PPA sessions.
4. Supporting pupils' emotional well-being and behaviour.
5. Providing supervision for pupils both in the playground and dining hall at lunchtime.
The right candidate will be able to demonstrate personal qualities of dedication, patience, flexibility and humour. Working collaboratively as part of an effective team, the candidate will be able to respond quickly to the changing needs of the school and individual/groups of children. They will have a positive mindset and a 'can-do', solution-focused approach.
