Are you an experienced manager working in primary care and looking for a new challenge? An exciting opportunity has become available, within the mid and south Essex Primary Care Training Hub, to champion the education and development needs of the admin and non-clinical primary care workforce and support the delivery of focused initiatives across mid and south Essex. This is a part time role (up to 0.2 WTE - flexible) and is a fixed term position for 12 months initially. We are very happy to consider applicants on a secondment basis and will also consider flexible working, condensed hours, and term time arrangements. This role will require movement around mid and south Essex geography and as such the base will be flexible. With the non-clinical w orkforce making up approximately 45% of the workforce in primary care, it is essential that this staff group is fully developed and supported. Working closely with practices across the system, scoping training needs and commissioning admin and non-clinical training and development initiatives, the post will play a crucial role in supporting the development of the long-term strategy. R epresenting the interests of the admin and non-clinical primary care workforce and acting as a first point of contact for practices and PCNs in relation to workforce initiatives for this staff group, the admin and non-clinical ambassador will aim to improve engagement and develop networks. About the Candidate Qualifications, skills and experience required: Relevant masters' degree or extensive knowledge and experience to equivalent level. Experience of leading, managing and delivering significant change projects involving stakeholders. The successful candidate will be a highly self-motivated individual with an ability to influence, engage and challenge with integrity and credibility. A good understanding of general practice is essential including awareness of the challenges facing the admin and non-clinical workforce to inform decision making.
