We are hiring for a Veterinary Receptionist to join our team!
We're looking for an enthusiastic person with a passion for customer service to join our fantastic team! This is a part-time position based at our Newbury and Tadley branch but there may be a requirement to travel to Thatcham.
Main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
1. Liaising with the clients and the clinical staff to provide a high level of customer care.
2. Meeting and greeting clients and pets.
3. Booking appointments and diary management.
4. Managing telephone and email enquiries.
5. Taking payment for services and products.
6. Managing cash and end-of-day banking.
7. Maintaining a clean and safe space for our clients and their pets.
Our receptionist's focus is to provide excellent customer service and make the clients' experience the best it can be.
Ideally, you will have:
1. Great organisational skills.
2. Good communication skills.
3. Confidence using IT systems.
4. Able to work different shifts and some weekends on a rota basis.
5. Prior experience working in a customer service role.
About the rota
This is a part-time, permanent role with shifts covering Thursday 1:30 pm to 7:30 pm, Friday 2 pm to 7:00 pm and Saturday 8 am to 4 pm (1 hour break).
