The role: Supervise and support a team of care staff in delivering high-quality care to individuals with profound learning and physical disabilities Ensure compliance with care standards and regulations, maintaining a safe and effective environment for service users. Assist in the development and implementation of individual care plans tailored to the needs of each service user. Conduct regular assessments and reviews of service users' needs and progress. Provide training, guidance, and support to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Manage medication administration and ensure proper documentation is maintained. Assist the manager with the daily running of the service Act as a point of contact for families, external agencies, and other stakeholders. Promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the team and among service users. About you: NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification. Proven experience in adult services, particularly in a supervisory role Strong understanding of medication management and personal care practices. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Ability to manage resources effectively. Knowledge of care management principles and best practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users and their families. Competence in maintaining accurate records and documentation.
