Your role as an Ethical Compliance Specialist will be to implement Kingfisher's Human Rights policy into Offer and Sourcing.
Your goals are to support O&S’s growth, help assure customer confidence, and support the O&S Sustainability team, wider O&S functions (Sourcing, Quality, Legal), and where appropriate, liaise with the relevant Banner teams, in delivering the O&S Responsible Sourcing Strategy for Human Rights.
What's the job
1. Prioritise and manage the programme of ethical supplier audits including liaison with external audit providers and in support of Buying Offices to onboard suppliers using the Kingfisher processes.
2. Manage post-audit corrective action plans consistent with risks and issues identified in the audit.
3. Develop and deliver training internally and externally (vendor) relevant to the implementation of the Kingfisher Ethical and related Environmental policies.
4. Assist in the development of the framework to demonstrate continuous improvement in labour standards & environmental practices and to reduce supply chain impact.
5. Support the identification of key issues and corresponding solutions, trends and themes in the area of Responsible Sourcing/ethical factory management.
6. Manage and maintain regular reports and conduct analysis based on information collected from monthly ethical audits.
7. Maintain and manage appropriate due diligence processes to complement O&S Ethical & Environment policies.

1. Proven experience in the field of ethical management/human rights. (SMETA/Amfori BSCI/Ecovadis knowledge and audit training desirable)
