We are looking for an experienced Distribution Security Officer to be the first point of contact for all customers and clients. Responsibilities will include creating a safe and welcoming working environment, responding to any on-site incidents, and requesting assistance or assuming control until the arrival of the Client, Emergency Services, or Duty Manager.
You will be a trustworthy, attentive, and approachable individual who is confident welcoming clients and visitors. Proactively, you will highlight any breaches of security procedures through monitoring the Site, Fire, Intruder, and CCTV systems and report to the Business Protection Coordinator by recording, reporting, and escalating incidents through the established processes.
You will need to support with access and escorting people and vehicles to and from the site.
The ideal candidate will be a SIA licence holder and possess Door Supervision, Security Guarding, or CCTV licenses. A Full UK Driving licence would be beneficial. On appointment, this role will require you to undergo vetting and an SC screening.
