Third Space is a collection of luxury health clubs in London; individual in style, bound by a common philosophy: to provide outstanding fitness spaces that members feel are their own. Our people are the creators that bring the space to life. We’re a team of motivators, inventors, and coaches; always striving to grow and evolve. It’s not just a job, it’s a lifestyle. We inspire our members to fulfil their lives and they rely on us…and we wouldn’t have it any other way. This is our space. Due to the ever-increasing momentum around our group exercise product and in line with our mission to develop the very best instructors in the world, we’re looking for a Senior Instructor to support our Pilates Master Trainer. Ideally, the Senior Instructor will already be teaching a high number of Reformer Pilates classes and have future aspirations to become a Master Trainer at Third Space – primarily because part of this role will work closely with and support the Master Trainer and Head of Group Exercise with the overall execution and management of the GEX strategy. This is an employed role based on 32 hours per week across 5 days and you will be expected to teach 20 classes per week, across multiple Third Space clubs in addition to hours of agreed business-related duties and work with the Master Trainers. We’ll expect you to be trained in and regularly teaching all of the Third Space signature concepts within the equipment and mat Pilates category. In addition, you’ll also be attending strategy meetings with the Head of Group Exercise and Master Trainers, as well as organising and attending instructor auditions to help us find the talented Third Space Instructors of the future. Supporting instructor development is a key part of this role including auditing our current instructors, delivering constructive feedback to ensure continuous improvement. You’ll also attend Education Days as set with the Master Trainers and engage the teams in club with our product by teaching regular staff classes at your main site. We’re looking for an experienced instructor who has the capability and desire to step up and take on additional responsibility within our Group Exercise offering alongside our Master Trainers and Head of Group Exercise – for this reason you’ll be collaborative in your approach, well organised and able to manage a busy workload. Additionally, you’ll be obsessed with high product and operational delivery as well as eager to improve these across the rest of the instructor population.
