The Role
The successful candidate will:
* Teach Computer Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with the potential to teach Key Stage 5, depending on experience).
* Deliver engaging, challenging, and inclusive lessons to inspire a love of Computer Science.
* Monitor and evaluate pupil progress, providing effective feedback and support.
* Collaborate with the Computer Science department to develop innovative schemes of work and resources.
* Play an active role in the school’s extra-curricular and enrichment programs.
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
* Have a proven track record of delivering outstanding teaching and learning in Computer Science.
* Demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students and colleagues.
* Be committed to continuous professional development and staying abreast of the latest educational trends and technologies.
* Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
