Bounce Back for Kids (BB4K) Support Worker – now closed
Permanent P/T opportunity – 22 hours/week across 3 days: either Mon-Weds, or Tues-Thurs working flexibly from our Reading office, home and community covering West Berkshire/Reading/Wokingham.
Make a difference in the lives of children affected by domestic abuse. PACT’s BB4K team is growing, and we need a passionate individual to join us in this innovative programme.
BB4K is a lifeline for children healing from the trauma of domestic abuse. Sadly, the demand for our programme continues to rise. We supported 223 families in 2023 through individual and group therapeutic support sessions.
We’re recruiting a Support Worker to be a guiding hand for children and families on their healing journey.
At PACT, we offer:
1. A chance to use skills to impact a vulnerable community.
2. A supportive/collaborative work environment where contribution is valued.
3. To learn and grow professionally alongside dedicated experts in trauma recovery.
4. The satisfaction of knowing you’re making a lasting difference in children’s lives.
Early application is encouraged. We’ll review applications received throughout the advertising period; we may close the vacancy or interview earlier than stated.
We particularly encourage applications from those with experience in the field of domestic abuse who meet the essential requirements for the role.
Salary range: £14,713 to £17,982 pro rata per annum depending on experience (£24,745 to £30,243 full time equivalent).
For an informal conversation about the role or to arrange a visit to our office and meet the team before you apply, please contact Luke Pepperell, BB4K Manager by email to arrange: luke@pactcharity.org.
Open for applications from 15 July 2024.
Closing date for applications: 5 August 2024.
Scheduled interview date: 21 August 2024.
Will my application be acknowledged? All applicants, successful or otherwise, can expect to receive a reply from us in due course.
