Area Sales Manager
Our client, a professional training and coaching company, is seeking an Area Business Consultant to join their team in the Swindon area. Offering a salary of up to £27,000 plus commission on a full-time, permanent basis.
What will you be doing?
As an Area Business Consultant, you will interact with potential and existing clients to create new business opportunities across different sectors. This includes engaging learners in their full range of Apprenticeship programs, funded training, or commercial training. You will collaborate closely with your local team to meet enrolment goals and represent the company at local events. This role involves working from home, traveling to client sites, and networking opportunities in your local area. You will actively prospect and identify new business leads, research potential clients, and uncover new business opportunities within your region of Norwich. You will set up and lead meetings and presentations to convert potential clients. Additionally, you will track and manage new business opportunities using their CRM system, collaborate with the Norwich team to prioritize new business generation, and support enrolment targets. You will maintain strong relationships with new clients to achieve or surpass monthly new business targets through proactive outreach, coordinating with area managers and internal teams to advance new business leads, and collecting and sharing client feedback and market insights with relevant departments.
What skills will you have?

* You will have previous experience in a business development role.
* You will have experience in new business development and lead generation.
* You will have excellent communication and relationship-building skills and be a natural problem solver who can take initiative and is self-motivated.
* You will ideally be familiar with the further education and apprenticeship sector.
* You will have a UK driver's licence with access to a car.
