Your Talent and Skills
To be successful in this role, you have a friendly and approachable demeanor towards customers and colleagues. While experience in breakfast, lunch, dinner, and event service within a hospitality establishment is desirable, it is not essential as comprehensive training will be provided. A positive, “can-do” attitude is crucial, along with basic knowledge and understanding of food hygiene. Basic bar knowledge is also desirable but not essential, as full training will be given. You demonstrate confidence and professionalism, with a mature manner and a strong sense of ownership and pride. Being quality-driven with high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail is essential. You must be willing to work shifts, including early breakfast and late dinner shifts, as well as weekends. Responsible handling of cash and credit card transactions, along with strong numerical, literacy, and communication skills, is also required.
We’ve put together some criteria that we think is important for this role, but don’t worry if your experience and expertise isn’t an exact match. If you feel that you can add value to our role and to Edrington more broadly, we would welcome your application and be eager to learn more about you.
