The Human Resources team at Oxford Policy Management is currently seeking a HR Business Partner on a Permanent basis. Our HR Business Partners are the focal point for HR service delivery, engaging with their dedicated client groups to support delivery of our talent management strategy. They provide expert advice and guidance in all aspects of the employee life cycle and across HR activities – from employee engagement, performance management, relations, behavioural capability development to exit – with fairness and consistency, managing risk and the need to adapt to location specific solutions in their approach. Building effective, trusting and respectful relationships with key stakeholders across the business, our HRBP team positively influence people and culture activities in alignment with OPM’s mission and values. As a HR Business Partner at OPM you will: Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the work, strategic objectives and people needs of the client groups you partner. Contribute and lead on HR elements for annual processes, including performance reviews, pay reviews, staff survey feedback Devise and implement roll-out of HR projects (eg wellbeing initiatives) across the business, supporting strengthened employee engagement and organisational culture Provide HR advice and guidance on all aspects of performance management including effective objective setting in teams and employee development. Partner with Talent Acquisition and Learning and Development functions on the design and execution of workforce and succession planning strategies. Proactively drive talent management activities within your client group Work with the wider HR team, Legal and other relevant functions and country offices to provide employment regulation guidance to managers both in the UK and internationally, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, proactive risk management, consistency and fairness. Ensure policies and procedures reflect any implications of change initiatives and legislative changes. Liaise with the Reward function on pay related issues, including promotion and career development moves. Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to people managers on their approach to coaching, counselling, objective setting and career development within teams. Lead the management of employee relations cases within your client groups. Collaborate with colleagues across the wider HR team to present co-ordinated messaging to managers, employees, and other key stakeholders. Collate, monitor and interpret metrics, forming a data-centric approach to decision making. Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience. At least 10 years’ experience in the delivery of HR solutions across a broad range of disciplines including organisation change, performance management and employee engagement, on a company-wide basis. Strong knowledge of employment legislation, and the application of best practice principles across locations (particularly the UK). Experience of providing business partner support to senior leadership, and the design and implementation of change initiatives. Demonstrated ability to approach HR service provision through a pragmatic and commercial lens. Successful track-record of formulating, implementing and revising HR policies and procedures – within the UK and internationally. Substantial understanding of data reporting and analysis in supporting the identification of trends and risks. Able to deal with complex staff issues sensitively, maintaining confidentiality and demonstrating empathy whilst balancing solutions with business needs. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively engage and influence a diverse range of audiences. Solutions focused and pro-active approach; able to balance multiple priorities to enabling the delivery of strategic goals. Desirable Skills/Experience CIPD (Level 5 or above) or equivalent qualification. Experience of working within a global, matrixed organisational structure. Proven interest or experience in the field of international development.
