Main duties of the job The post holder will understand surgical and cancer pathways and be dedicated to improving patient experience while developing specialist nursing practice through ongoing professional and academic growth. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive Holistic Needs Assessments at key points along the cancer pathway Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions to meet patients' needs Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) and attend meetings to ensure patients' wishes are prioritised Under the guidance of the Head and Neck Clinical Nurse Specialist, provide specialised nursing care and support to patients with Head, Neck, and cancer, along with their families/carers Support patients across various care settings, including wards and outpatient clinics.
