Job overview
The job is to learn through an Annex 21, to become a Mechanical Technician.
The duties include highly complex fault finding and maintenance on all aspects of engineering plant and equipment throughout the Trust.
The duties must be carried out within stringent timescales and within statutory guidelines.
Main duties of the job
1. To work with Trade mentors while at work
2. To keep relevant managers up to date with progress of the Annex 21
3. The post holder may have day to day contact with the internal and external stakeholders regarding sensitive, complex and confidential issues.
4. They may have present verbal, written and numerical issues, explaining complexities, to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders

1. To learn how to conduct PPM and reactive tasks
2. To learn how to fault find on complex mechanical systems
3. To help and escort contractors
4. To manage personal jobs on the CAFM via PDA at a level relevant to current training
5. To support in mechanical system shut downs and isolations
