We are looking for an Internal Communications Manager who will be responsible for delivering our internal communication strategic objectives and driving colleague engagement at a Business Unit level, by supporting key Business Unit projects and campaigns and ensuring consistency to the overall Group strategy and purpose.

Hybrid working whereby you will be expected to travel to our Northampton office 2- 3 times per week.
What you’ll do:
As the Internal Communications Manager you will provide all communications to ensure consistent messaging. You will develop, maintain and implement the communication strategy for the project and integration process which will include the approach, messages, tone, assets, templates and toolkits.
This is an exciting, challenging role for an enthusiastic, driven individual with extensive internal communications experience, particularly in change management.
Some accountabilities of the role:
1. Advise, guide and influence our sponsors and senior stakeholders to engage our Business Unit colleagues in initiatives and activities that support our strategic objectives.
2. Work closely with the Business Unit Managing Director, Senior Leadership team and Group Head of Internal Communications to create strong communications that inform, inspire and enable all colleagues.
3. Planning and writing content for the Business Unit channels including MD newsletters, operations bulletins and colleague videos.
4. Supporting all strategic change programmes and organisational change, and to deliver the communication through thorough and engaging content.
5. Support and work closely with HR to deliver our people strategy, including senior leadership development and meetings, employee value propositions, reward and DE&I.
6. Always improving content by following trends and best practices.
Is this you?
7. Due to the nature of our business, we are looking for someone who is able to deliver valuable internal communications support within the complexities of a large, geographically dispersed organisation including non- desk members.
8. You will have a proven track record in the development of successful, creative internal communications strategies, while having the drive to ensure all projects and initiatives are delivered on time.
9. You’ll need to be on top of the latest thinking with regards to best practice in internal communications.
10. You will be a hands-on, team player, and have strong written ability, so you’re able to translate complex issues into compelling, interesting, straightforward language that holds people’s attention.
11. Key to this role is the ability to build and maintain strong relationships across a diverse stakeholder group with the skills to inspire others to embrace change. In all, a thorough internal communications person who isn’t afraid to get stuck in and do what’s needed to deliver some outstanding results.
