Business Development Executive – Bids and Tenders
Salary: £55/60k plus bonus
Location: London, and South East – some travel and overnight stays required
The Client:
Having built an excellent reputation, our client is a leading waste management & recycling company operating throughout the UK.
The Role:
Our client is recruiting an experienced Tender/Bid Coordinator/Manager. Supporting the commercial team, you will be responsible for writing and completing tenders across several sectors including Local Authorities, Municipal waste, treatment, and disposal. You will be involved in the tender process from cradle to grave, managing the preparation and completion of Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQ’s), Invitation to Tenders (ITT’s), and tender documents in alignment with customer requirements. You will oversee the complete bid process from start to finish, undertake occasional site visits, and assist in the presentation of tenders and bids to potential clients. You will manage the flow of documentation and monitor contract notices in a time-critical environment.
The Candidate:
You will be an experienced Bid/Tender writer ideally within the waste industry. You must be an excellent communicator, highly skilled in verbal and written communications, with good typing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. A Degree or Masters would be an advantage as it demonstrates the ability to research and write reports/dissertations.

Report Writer, Tender Manager, Bid Manager, Pre-Qualification Questionnaire, Tender Writer, Sales Executive or Account Manager (with tender writing), Proposal Researcher, Business Development Manager, Waste Management or Degree Graduate, or Technical Bid Assessor.
