Main duties of the job
1. Attend all committees and take accurate minutes.
2. Follow up any agreed action points with those responsible and inform the chair of progress.
3. Liaise with those preparing papers to make sure they are available on time and distribute the agenda and papers.
4. Maintain copies of current terms of reference and membership of any committees and any nominated trustee e.g., safeguarding.
5. Maintain a record of all relevant documents, including minutes, record of conflicts and interests, etc.
6. Maintain a trustee meeting attendance record.
With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high level of attention to detail. You will naturally possess excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to consult and positively engage with key stakeholders across the organisation.

The Children's Trust is the UK's leading charity for children with acquired brain injury, providing expert rehabilitation, education, therapy, and care at our national specialist centre in Tadworth, and to children and their families across the UK, via our Brain Injury Community Service.

1. Provide administrative, coordination, and secretarial support to all board-level committees.

Essential

Experience

* Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
* Experience of Microsoft Office and an aptitude and curiosity for learning new software and systems.
Qualifications
Essential
* GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths or relevant work experience.
* Relevant secretarial or administrative qualification, or equivalent experience in a similar role.
