Reporting to the, Senior Manager, Marketing and Events, the Nations and Regions Marketing Manager will lead key elements, whilst supporting the Senior Managers on the wider development and delivery of integrated marketing, communications, and events strategy. They will lead marketing on campaigns throughout all regions and nations of the UK, not just Fund areas. Working closely with the UK Network (a field team that seeks to address geographical imbalances in smaller business access to finance across the UK), the Nations and Regions Marketing Manager will develop and deliver campaigns that aim to educate and enable intermediaries to better support smaller businesses on their finance journey, through the provision of information, support and guidance on products, services, and content to improve their access to finance. Some campaigns will also be targeted at smaller businesses directly. The Nations and Regions Marketing Manager will also support the Senior Managers on the delivery of marketing, communications and events plans for the Nations and Regions Investment Funds. Responsibilities: Marketing Gain a thorough understanding of both internal and external research and insight to help inform nations and regions strategy and campaigns Work closely with the UK Network team to bring marketing expertise to the strategic planning and delivery of their activity of encouraging and enabling smaller businesses to seek the finance best suited to their needs Plan, initiate, create, implement, measure, review and evaluate a series of insight driven, themed campaigns, with a focus on the indirect to SME channel working with regional intermediary partners Create regionally focused digital content, newsletters, emails, and content for collateral and campaigns Create ad-hoc intermediary/regional engagement campaigns/activity to support business requirements, to raise awareness, inform and educate about the bank and its products so they will in turn be able to inform, educate and signpost smaller businesses Carry out tactical marketing activity in underserved areas/regions, including the regions without a fund Manage the UK Network Marketing and Events Toolkit to enable the field team to self-serve on BAU marketing and events activity Develop integrated acquisition strategies targeted at key audiences to raise awareness and drive interest Lead, organise and manage regional in person, virtual and hybrid events in collaboration with the UK Network, ensuring correct events processes and documentation are followed Provide campaign performance updates and regular reporting to key stakeholders, highlighting areas of concern and success Proactively manage and reassure senior key stakeholders through regular activity updates and review meetings, clearly demonstrating the benefits/impact of activities Act as brand guardian and champion, ensuring all branding adheres to brand guidelines Be self-motivated and keep abreast of market/ industry trends to ensure you have the knowledge & skills to perform your role effectively. Prepare contact reports for any briefs/projects/client meetings and/or calls to ensure written account of communications at all times.
