Job summary You will be responsible for raising the profile, development, implementation, organisation and monitoring of apprenticeships in all disciplines and at all levels across the Trust. This will include leading on the management of all aspects of administration, meeting the ESFA needs with regards to levy and all contractual and legal responsibilities relating to managing a contract with external providers. Apprenticeships will form a core part of the Trust's workforce planning and development arrangements moving forward and the post holder will form part of this activity. This will include responding to the needs of the Trust and developing apprenticeship provision into new vocational areas. Main duties of the job You will work at a strategic level offering advice, guidance and support to senior staff with regard to Apprenticeship development as part of the Trust's workforce transformation and skill mix commitment. You will also work at an operational level in support of specific activities for example, liaising with appropriate training providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring all aspects of legal compliance are both adhered to and maintained. You will work closely with the Healthcare Careers team and other managers both within Learning, Education and Development and Trust wide to ensure the Organisation's learning and development policies and strategies support workforce planning and development. You will contribute to work within the wider Learning, Education and Development Department as required.
