As a Care Assistant, we ask for you to care for our residents like they are your own family, addressing their physical, psychological, and social needs. You will assist residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing, and helping with meals. We welcome applications from candidates who have previously worked as a Care Assistant, Care Giver, Homecare Worker, or Community Support Worker. We also provide full training and welcome applications from those without prior experience but with a passion for care.
This position is for 22 hours per week.

About You:

* Level 2 in Health & Social Care or care certificate (desirable, not essential as all training is provided).
* Previous experience working in a Care Home environment (desirable but not essential).
* Experience leading a team.
* A committed and organized approach.
* Confident communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Flexibility to work shifts.

Other Duties:
* Attend staff meetings.
* Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing needs of the home and participate in appropriate training.
* Understand safeguarding responsibilities and reduce the risk of abuse or neglect to adults needing care and support.
* Ensure adherence to safeguarding and whistleblowing policies.
* Provide evidence of any untaken training.
* Comply with fire procedures and health and safety legislation.
* Complete all training as determined by the home.
