Are you looking for a job where you can make a real difference every day? Whether you're an experienced Support Worker or completely new to Social Care, this could be the opportunity for you. Join Thera, a provider with a CQC Outstanding rating, and become part of a welcoming, passionate team that truly values the work we do.
As a Support Worker in a supported living setting, you’ll be helping adults with learning disabilities to live independently and achieve their personal goals. No two days are ever the same. One day, you might be helping someone learn a new skill or supporting them in managing their home. Another day, you could be encouraging them to take up a new hobby, assisting with employment opportunities, or heading out into the community to explore new places. It’s a role that’s rewarding, fulfilling, and sometimes challenging, but most of all, it’s an opportunity to bring real joy and independence into someone’s life.
You don’t need previous experience to join us. We provide full training, so as long as you have a caring nature and a genuine passion for helping others, you’ll fit right in. You’ll also have the reassurance of a secure, regular salary and the chance to work for an organisation that truly puts people first – in fact, we are led by individuals with learning disabilities. Our vision is simple: to show that people with learning disabilities can be leaders in society, and you’ll play a key role in making that happen.
