Staff Nurse - Pre-Assessment
Chichester Hospital | Pre-Assessment | Fixed-term contract | Full time | Includes weekend work
Up to £36,000 per annum, depending on experience
37.5 hours per week
Main duties of the job
As a Pre-Assessment Staff Nurse, you will:
* Be part of a close-knit team delivering matron-led care in a consultant-led service
* As the first point of contact, you will work with leading talent and professionals to make the right assessments for patients prior to their surgery
* Demonstrate a broad knowledge base and assessment skills to ensure patient care
* Fully understand and support the needs of each patient and their family
* Offer comfort and reassurance, providing the highest standards of care
* Build your experience across new practices, equipment and facilities
* Work with practitioners in other areas, understanding that continuity in patient care is key
About us
Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital is a 30 bedded hospital within walking distance of the city centre with free onsite car parking. The hospital has two laminar flow operating theatres, a JAG accredited endoscopy unit and two minor treatment rooms in the outpatient department. There is a small radiology department and CT/ MRI services are provided in a mobile unit. Inpatient physiotherapy is provided within the hospital whilst our outpatients attend the fitness and wellbeing centre at Chichester gate for their follow up physio and hydrotherapy treatments.

As a Staff Nurse in our hospital, you'll be attentive, focused, detail-oriented and empathetic. You're registered with the appropriate governing body, and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC. With post-registration experience, you're a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.
