We are growing our Clinical Team and have an exciting opportunity for a Physiotherapist to join our well-established and high-performing group of Practices.
Led by a friendly, enthusiastic team and diverse clinical team, you will receive all the support you need to do what you do best; care for your patients.
Working for our Practice (and across the Primary Care Network we are part of), you will be joining a team committed to putting patient care first for our 40,000 patients. You will be given the support and autonomy you need to assess, investigate, diagnose, treat and refer registered patients within set guidelines.
We think our Practices are a good place to work and this view is supported by the CQC, who in their recent inspection found examples of excellence in all areas.
The post is permanent and we are happy to discuss working hours depending on candidates' preferences.
Main duties of the job
You will be required to do:
1. Assessment and triage: You will assess and triage patients who present with MSK conditions or sports injuries. You will use your clinical expertise to determine the appropriate course of action, which may involve referring the patient for further tests or treatment, providing advice, or referring them to a specialist.
2. Diagnosis and treatment: You are trained to diagnose and treat a range of MSK conditions. You may use a variety of techniques, such as exercise prescription and education, to help patients recover from their injuries and manage their pain.
3. Referrals and follow-up: You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive the appropriate care and support. You may refer patients for further assessment or treatment, and provide follow-up care to monitor their progress.
4. Patient education: You will educate patients about their condition, treatment options, and self-management strategies. You will empower patients to take an active role in their care and support them in making informed decisions about their health.
5. Continuous professional development: You will be up-to-date with the latest research, guidelines, and best practices in MSK care. You will participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills.
If this role appeals and you have the qualities we are looking for, we would love to hear from you.
