MLC Partners are working with a South East based NHS Trust to support with the recruitment of an interim Head of ICT Services. This is a key leadership role within the ICT department, responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and security of all critical ICT systems that support frontline and back-office operations. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of technical specialists responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of all ICT infrastructure, including: Server infrastructure (physical and virtual) Network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi) Telephony systems Service Desk Data centre operations Security operations (including threat detection and response) Ensure the availability, performance, and security of all critical ICT systems, including those supporting patient care, clinical systems, and operational management. Develop and implement service improvement plans to enhance the quality, efficiency, and resilience of ICT services. Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks to ICT service availability and security. Work closely with clinical and operational teams to understand their ICT needs and ensure that services are aligned with business requirements. Manage ICT service budgets and ensure value for money. Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, clinical staff, and external suppliers. Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations, including data protection and information security standards. Experience: Holds ITIL v3 Expert or ITIL v4 Master certification - ESSENTIAL Experience of working with cloud computing technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) Experience of implementing and managing ITIL service management processes Experience working within an NHS organisation or private healthcare
