The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Lead Physiotherapist to join our in patient neuro rehab ward at Lincoln County Hospital. The role will require a passion for working with people who have been admitted to Ashby ward, which as the Regional Rehabilitation Unit for Adults with Acquired Brain Injury, is a dynamic workplace, dedicated to comprehensive patient centred care. You will work alongside the occupational therapist Team Lead to jointly manage the integrated therapy team, whilst working as part of the senior MDT team to deliver on the values and visions within the service.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will lead a developing and experienced clinical team of Therapy staff Bands 2-6 and will support the development of Therapy staff as part of the wider MDT to deliver evidence based interventions for people on the in patient ward areas. The successful candidate must be flexible, innovative & highly motivated. The role requires the appointed person to be proactive and adaptable to support the smooth and prompt transition of in- patient care to the individuals' place of discharge, taking into account their needs. The successful applicant will be well supported within the Therapy service and will be encouraged to develop the service. Person Specification
Qualifications
Essential
1. HCPC Registration
2. Diploma/degree in Physiotherapy
3. Evidence of relevant post graduate courses/CPD
4. 5 GCSEs or equivalent at Grade C or above including English Language and Maths
5. IELTS level 7 for staff whose first language is not English
Desirable
1. Supervisory skills
2. Membership of CSP
3. Active membership of a relevant CSP Professional Network (e.g. Insert relevant CIGs here)
Experience
Essential
1. Proven NHS experience including work at Band 6 level in a variety of clinical areas.
2. Proven skills in specialist area
3. Experience of Student supervision

1. Post Graduate clinical education
2. Masters level course attendance
3. Evidence of previous experience in audits.
4. Relevant validated clinical courses
