We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Theatre Team Managerto take on a pivotal leadership role within our Obs/Gynae/Breast/Paeds theatre team.
About the Role
As Theatre Team Manager, you will hold overall clinical and operational responsibility for the day-to-day management of our dedicated theatre team. You will lead by example, maintaining the highest standards of care and safety while ensuring efficient resource utilisation. Your responsibilities will include:
• Clinical Excellence: Maintain a clinical presence, providing hands-on care for a defined caseload at least 50% of your contracted hours, or as agreed with the Theatre Manager.
• Financial Oversight: Manage the department’s finances, supporting the delivery of Cost Improvement Plans.
• Resource & Facility Management: Support the Theatre Manager in organising theatre facilities, clinical standards, equipment, and resources, with direct accountability for your specific area.

• Motivate team members and lead innovative clinical practice by setting an example.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including CQC standards, financial instructions, and Trust policies.
• Optimize the efficiency of operating sessions to maximise patient throughput.
• Perform daily operational management as Theatre Coordinator and deputise for the Theatre Manager when required.
