About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and inclusive school community in Blackpool. The successful candidate will support students with a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and speech and language difficulties, helping them to access the curriculum, develop their social skills, and build confidence in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one and group support to students with SEN.
Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to deliver tailored learning activities.
Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
Monitor and record student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents/carers.
Promote independence and positive social interaction among pupils.About You:
Previous experience working with children with SEN (preferably in an educational setting).
A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting children with additional needs.
