The Role
We are seeking a dedicated, experienced and highly organised Human Resources Manager who will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our business goals, as well as ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures, managing employee relationships and ensuring a positive workplace culture. Responsibility of Health and Safety will also fall within the scope of this role to ensure compliance with all Health and Safety legal requirements and implementation of best practice solutions.
You’ll be working across two businesses located at the same site: Back Care Solutions and Ergonomic Seating Solutions—both dedicated to improving the comfort, support, and wellbeing of people across the UK. Together, we have a team of approximately 60 employees.
The Candidate & Experience
* Proven human resource management experience with a strong understanding of HR practices and laws
* Experience of overseeing the health and safety requirements of an organisation
* Confident in their own decisions, with excellent judgment, communication and interpersonal abilities
* Significant experience of managing complex employee matters including consultation, disciplinaries and absence management
* Exceptional organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and prioritisation.
· A proactive approach to problem-solving with an emphasis on collaboration and teamwork.
· Proficient in data analysis to inform decision-making
· Strong communication skills to drive motivation and employee engagement
Duties and Responsibilities
· Managing recruitment. Including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
· Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business strategy.
· Introducing new initiatives to drive employee satisfaction and a positive culture
· Manage employee relations issues, providing support to employees and management to resolve conflicts effectively.
· Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
· Implementing and updating policies and procedures in line with legislation and best practice.
· Oversee staff development and training plans to enhance performance.
· Conduct HR meetings such as investigations, disciplinaries, grievances etc.
· Conduct data analysis and surveys to identify trends in employee performance and satisfaction, making recommendations for improvements.
· Preparation of monthly payroll.
· Take responsibility for Health & Safety, including risk assessments, training compliance, and policy implementation.
· Liaising with our third-party HR & Health and Safety specialists.

Salary & Hours
£40k-£48k per year
Monday-Friday. 8.30am - 5pm
