Job Purpose Working within a fast-paced environment the job holder will work with the Quality Team to ensure that final products meet our customer\u2019s and internal specifications and requirements. Role Responsibilities - Conduct and document live WIP testing in accordance with SOP and inform Quality Team leader and production teams of any tests falling out with the specification. - Conduct daily audits across the production floor to verify production compliance against SOP requirements, informing production and Quality Team Leader of any non-conformances. - Conduct quality visual assessments on products as part of the daily audit checks, informing operators and Quality Team Leader of any non-conformances. - To ensure that all output meets customer specification and is produced in accordance with BS EN ISO 9001 and BRC-GS. - To perform internal specialist checks as per internal procedures. - To conduct internal audits according to internal procedures and external standards. - To comply with individual customer specifications. - To take necessary corrective action in line with SOP and customer specifications when faults are identified. - To make quality judgements independent of production requirements. - To be aware of and ensure all quality records and systems are maintained in line with data integrity requirements. - Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System. - Liaise closely with production departments on issues and improvements - Complete final AQL or 100% inspection checks against agreed SOP, as required on either carton or wrap product ranges, to support Final QC Inspection. - Action and control non-conforming product - impound and quarantine. Quality System - All functions to be carried out in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and BRC-GS quality management standard requirements with reference to the sites Quality Policy, Global Quality Manual 28 & relevant Works Instructions.
