Fairmont Windsor Park Hotel is searching for an Assistant Outlet Manager to join their team to take responsibility for the management of all aspects and functions of the Tea Salon operation.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to upskill themselves in a 5-star reputable luxury hotel.
Specifically, this position will be focused on our vibrant Orchid Tea Room which is home to a floral afternoon tea experience serving world-class teas and champagne.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Managing the overall Tea Salon budget
2. Implementing effective purchasing and ordering activities
3. Monitoring restaurant costs on a daily basis and working closely with the Assistant Food & Beverage manager and the Director of Food and Beverage.
4. Overseeing the monthly inventory for all the wines and beverages.
5. Conducting weekly inventory and cross check of beverage inventory with Micros sales.
6. Analysing guest insights to identify and meet customer expectations.
7. Managing local beverage marketing programmes for the hotel; participating in and maintaining system-wide beverage marketing programmes and promotions.
8. Focusing on internal team development and provide training on a monthly basis.
9. Adhering to all Health and Safety policies and making sure we are compliant to all.
Skills & Experience
10. Previous hotel experience is advantageous.
11. An absolute commitment to delivering high levels of customer service.
12. Ability to remain calm whilst under pressure.
13. Flexible and versatile in responding to guest requests and situations.
