We are looking to recruit an experienced Physiotherapist to support the service delivery for children & young people with complex needs across Worcestershire. The role aims to deliver Physiotherapy evidence-based clinical pathways to support improved health outcomes for children with complex conditions. The job share post of 22.5 hours, is countywide and will be based at one of our North bases within Worcestershire. The postholder will bring clinical experience and expertise to the role at an exciting time of supporting the transformation of Physiotherapy services for children with complex needs. The successful applicant will demonstrate expert knowledge and skills in Physiotherapy to include the provision around specialist equipment. The post holder will work collaboratively with the MDT to deliver service improvement and provide leadership as required. Main duties of the job This exciting role involves being a key member of the Childrens Physiotherapy clinical leadership team helping to shape the physical disability service for Physiotherapy. You will oversee projects and quality improvement initiatives to design and embed new ways of working to meet the needs of those with complex physical needs. You will sit within the community Physiotherapy team providing specialist assessments, interventions and implementing effective outcome measures. You will have responsibility for clinical leadership of the Physiotherapy team supporting with clinical supervision, training and service development for this cohort. Person Specification Experience Essential • A minimum of 4 years post graduate experience including work in a speciality at band 6 • Experience of working with children at band 6 • Experience of supervision of junior staff or students • Experience of delegation to qualified / unqualified staff • Experience of audit Qualifications Essential • Diploma / Degree in Physiotherapy • Evidence of relevant post Graduate) courses / CPD maintained in portfolio • Member of CSP and APCP • I understand that I will be asked to provide original certificates to verify my qualifications at point of offer
