Contracts Manager – Leading Civils & Groundworks Contractor
My Client is a leading Contractor in Essex, specialising in civil engineering, groundworks, and infrastructure works. They work alongside a host of house-builders and support a variety of other industries throughout East Anglia and the South East of England.
They are seeking a Contracts Manager to join their team, working across projects in Suffolk, Essex, and Norfolk.
The Candidate will be based at their Head Office in Bury St Edmunds 2 days a week, together with travelling to sites.
Experience
The candidate should have extensive experience within the Civil Engineering & Groundworks Sector.
The successful applicant will work within the production department to help deliver live projects being undertaken for their various clients.
Responsibilities:
* Manage all aspects of contract administration, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
* Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions, including H&S, on-site operations, producing and ensuring that programme targets are achieved, production of RAMS for site-specific operations.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify contract requirements and develop strategies to meet them.
* Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.
* Monitor contract performance and address any issues or disputes that arise.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records and documentation.
* Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in contract management.
* Good man management and communication skills with an eye for detail are essential aspects of this role.

Salary
The salary on offer for this role is £60k-£70k+ package, depending upon previous experience.
