Job Description
As a Food Services Manager with Compass Group UK, you will have the opportunity to lead our culinary team and develop innovative meal solutions for our clients. With a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction, you will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Responsibilities
• Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management, menu planning, and staff supervision
• Develop and implement new menu ideas and culinary concepts
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Monitor inventory levels and adjust orders as necessary
• Train and develop staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively
Requirements
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role or equivalent experience in the culinary industry
• City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent in food preparation and cooking
• Experience supervising a team and leading kitchen operations
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
