Job summary We are looking to recruit a passionate mental health nurse that is enthusiastic about leading one of our forensic wards. This will provide a fantastic developmental opportunity. You will need to provide leadership and mentoring, and will act as a positive role model for junior staff in a manner that positively reflects the values of the organisation. You will be responsible for managing, directing and leading the nursing team with inclusivity, compassion and commitment. Main duties of the job Tamarind Centre is an 89 bedded male medium secure unit and provides a range of services to support patients in their recovery including ICU, acute and rehabilitation and we want to hire an experienced nurse who has a real understanding of the needs of this group of patients who can bring innovation and change to our services. You must be a qualified RMN with experience of leadership. It's important that you have an understanding of multidisciplinary services and the challenges that face people with mental health problems.
