ACS International School Cobham is seeking a forward-thinking and dynamic Digital Teaching and Learning Specialist to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will drive the effective integration of technology into teaching and learning, supporting both staff and students to thrive in an increasingly digital world.
This is a whole school role, but the successful applicant will mainly be supporting the Middle and High Schools, therefore experience delivering technology support and integration to ages 10-18 and relevant teaching experience at this level is vital.
About the Role:
As a Digital Teaching and Learning Lead, you will:
* Collaborate with educators to design and deliver technology-rich learning experiences.
* Work closely with Group IT Service engineers to assist in the delivery of high quality support for students, parents and staff.
* Provide expert guidance and training to staff, enhancing their use of digital tools and platforms.
* Implement innovative teaching strategies aligned with the ISTE Standards for Educators and Students.
* Lead professional development sessions to upskill staff in educational technology.
* Support the administration and effective use of the school’s Learning Management Systems (LMS).
* Promote online safety and responsible digital citizenship within the school community.
* Keep up to date with the latest trends and advancements in educational technology to inform school-wide decision-making.
About You:
We are looking for an innovative and motivated professional with:
* A teaching qualification such as a B.Ed/PGCE/QTS/teaching licence and specialised training in educational technology.
* Experience in technology integration within an educational setting, ideally in an international school environment.
* Familiarity with US Common Core and the IB curriculums is desirable.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft, Google and Apple ecosystems (certifications preferred).
* Excellent coaching and mentoring skills to empower staff and students.
* Exceptional communication, organisation, and problem-solving abilities.
* A proactive and adaptable approach to change management and technology adoption.
* A passion for helping students become confident digital learners and future global leaders.
