Due to the expansion of our team, we are looking for Level 2 Teaching Assistant with experience of supporting children with SEND/SEMH needs (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities / Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) to join our vibrant team at our SEND school and Pupil Referral Unit (PRU). As a SEND / SEMH Teaching Assistant level 2 at Alder Brook, you will work with a group of children, providing tailored support and interventions to help children overcome barriers to learning, supporting children to thrive in an educational setting. Experience of working with KS1/KS2 is essential. The ideal candidate will be skilled in supporting behaviours which challenge, creating a nurturing environment where every child feels valued, supported, and empowered to succeed. This will be a challenging but highly rewarding role. If you are skilled at building relationships and relating to children who are experiencing their own challenges, then this could be the perfect role for you. Please note you may be required to support pupils in different settings.
