Farmfoods is currently seeking to recruit a Branch Returns Administrator to join us in Monkspath Solihull, Birmingham in a part-time pattern of 24 hours across 3 days. An opportunity has arisen for an individual to join the Branch Returns team in our Monkspath office in Birmingham for a part-time role. About You: Reporting to one of our central team managers, you will support your team in all aspects of their daily operations. This is a busy role which requires someone who is not afraid of hard work and who has the ability to manage a number of different tasks in a methodical and organised way. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills; attention to detail, organisation, an excellent telephone manner, a high standard of numeracy and literacy, and the ability to work to deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel is useful, but not essential. The role involves direct reporting to individuals at a senior level so the successful candidate must be comfortable dealing with people of all levels. A little more about the role… The Branch Returns team plays a key role at Farmfoods in processing the weekly returns that are sent from branches and in keeping a watchful eye over cash within the business. By ensuring that these aspects are well controlled, the team is able to add value to the business and allow us to continue to provide a fantastic service for our customers. You will be responsible for processing the weekly branch returns from our network of stores. You will check the accuracy and validity of the returns that are sent in order to give assurance to the finance team that the figures reported give a true and fair view of the performance of the company. You will monitor cash receipts from the bank and match these to amounts banked by our branches, taking into account expectations as to when this should occur. You will liaise directly with branches where issues are found in order to resolve the situation. You will quickly build up an extensive knowledge of our branches, in order to better equip you to recognise adverse trends and identify potential issues.
