Our client is currently looking for an IT Engineer to join their expanding team, offering a salary between £25 - £35k DOE.
This position is hybrid, with an element of site work included.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Minimum of 1 year experience as an IT Engineer or in a similar position.
2. Strong knowledge of IT systems and applications, specifically Microsoft 365 and Windows Operating Systems.
3. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
7. Previous experience with ConnectWise Manage PSA is also a plus.
Responsibilities:
1. Diagnose and resolve customer technical issues via remote assistance and on-site visits.
2. Perform software updates to proactively manage customer machines.
3. Install and maintain customer IT equipment and network infrastructures.
4. Use Remote Management and Monitoring Dashboard to identify and resolve issues.
5. Ensure all data backups for customers are completed regularly.
6. Assist customers with software and hardware installations.
7. Ensure all websites hosted by the company have valid SSL Certificates and are kept up-to-date.
8. Create and manage website hosting and relevant email accounts on Virtual Private Servers.
9. Maintain a knowledge base to help diagnose issues and record resolutions.
10. Ensure customer information is up-to-date within the CRM.
11. Purchase any required equipment, liaising with the management team.
