About the Role:
As a CBRE Environmental Reporting Compliance & Utility Administration Lead, you will oversee the development and execution of a program of work to maintain the client's compliance with expanding environmental reporting regulations across a global portfolio of operations. In addition, you will support the client in administration of utility contracts and supplier data.
This job is part of the Energy and Sustainability function. They are responsible for the development and implementation of environmental and social sustainability programs.
What You'll Do:
Environmental Reporting regulations are developing and expanding rapidly. The client subscribes to Enhesa services to identify environmental reporting obligations across its operations. The role will manage compliance with identified environmental reporting obligations, developing a program of work, executing some elements and supporting the client to out-source other elements.
In addition, the role will track procurement contracts for the purposes of renewal decisions the client needs to research, test against firm criteria and provide evidence to support supplier emissions factors for Market-based and Location-based reporting, to research, test and provide evidence of zero-carbon, "green" power products purchased by the client and to research and provide evidence of electricity supplier "generation mix" data.
1. Lead the setup and ongoing use of the client's Enhesa system as it pertains to ESG reporting regulations in EMEA and Americas.
2. Review at least quarterly, with the client, the state of the client's compliance with current ESG reporting regulations and to discuss the implications of forthcoming regulations as highlighted by the Enhesa system.
3. Act as program lead, coordinating the preparation of compliance materials (by the CBRE account team and/or by the CBRE platform team or other 3rd parties as agreed).
4. Document, or coordinate the documentation of, the process or procedure followed, the sources of data and the validation of data to compile compliance materials.
5. Ensure that all procedures and all data, records of validation, outputs of location and similar audits are filed in a structured, accessible manner on client systems.
6. Prepare, or coordinate the preparation of, presentation materials to cover the presentation of compliance materials to client internal review boards as necessary.
7. Administer the utility procurement contract tracker.
8. Research, test and record evidence for utility supplier emissions factors, "green" zero-carbon product credentials and supplier generation mixes.
What You'll Need:
1. Bachelor's Degree preferred. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
2. Ability to develop and/or work in accordance with procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
3. Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
4. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
5. Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
6. Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
