Maintenance Engineer - London\n\nJoin our team at CBRE Global Workplace Solutions!\n\nWe are looking for a motivated and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join our maintenance team in London. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in supporting the maintenance of plant, equipment, and building services across our client's sites.\n\nAbout the Role:\n\nAs a Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities will include:\n\n * Assisting in identifying and managing risks associated with equipment on site, including updating drawings and helping to identify critical spares.\n\n * Supporting the maintenance team in maintaining a safe and efficient working environment by responding to maintenance requests.\n\n * Conducting fault finding on a variety of machinery, including basic troubleshooting of heavy industrial machines and overhead cranes.\n\n * Providing support to the maintenance department with electrical and mechanical tasks.\n\n * Assisting in writing and following risk assessments to ensure safe and accurate completion of tasks.\n\n * Working on three-phase systems with voltages up to 440V and performing maintenance on motors, gearboxes, valves, and other equipment.\n\n * Utilizing mobile devices to accurately log and complete tasks from the CAFM maintenance system.\n\n * Collaborating with onsite services to address building services-related issues.\n\n * Being available for overtime, including nights and weekends, as required.\n\n * Performing ad-hoc duties as needed.\n\nRequirements:\n\n * Recognized or time-served apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering.\n\n * Some experience in manufacturing maintenance or a related field is preferred.\n\n * Basic electrical qualifications, such as City and Guilds 236 Pt 1-2 or equivalent, are a plus.\n\n * Mechanical knowledge to an acceptable standard, ideally with City and Guilds Mechanical qualifications.\n\n * Good multi-skilled ability and willingness to learn.\n\n * Familiarity with 3-phase motors, drives, and inverters is beneficial.\n\n * Basic hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge.\n\n * Ability to assist in fault finding and diagnosing PLC systems is a plus.\n\n * NVQ qualifications to Level 2 in Electrical or Mechanical disciplines are advantageous.\n\n * Willingness to learn about supervising contractors and understanding risk and method statements.\n\nWhat We Offer:\n\n * Competitive salary and benefits package.\n\n * Opportunity to work with a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management.\n\n * Collaborative and dynamic work environment.\n\n * Professional development and growth opportunities.\n\nIf you're a motivated individual looking to build your career as a Maintenance Engineer, we would love to hear from you
