Telephone Business Development Manager Cumbria/Hybrid Up to £40k per annum Are you an experienced, mortgage professional looking for a new and exciting opportunity, with a customer centric mortgage and savings provider? Our client is seeking a Telephone Business Development Manager, to develop mutually beneficial relationships with new and existing mortgage intermediaries. You will be part of a relatively small team, working with other areas of mortgage team. The role will be the first point of contact for any intermediary enquires, offering a prompt and first class experience. They are based in Cumbria, however, can offer a hybrid approach to the working week, with 2 – 3 days based at their head office, and the remainder working remotely. Duties of the Telephone Business Development Manager will include: Triage incoming enquiries, providing factual information on their products and lending criteria and initial decision in principle on mortgage applications Be pro-active in identifying new potential intermediary relationships and build on existing relationships Provide first class customer service to Intermediaries Build productive, effective and mutually beneficial relationships with peers, colleagues and key stakeholders across the business Manage the onboarding and reactivation of intermediaries Share insights gained from interactions with Intermediaries to enable the ongoing development of our products and proposition From time to time, be willing to represent the organisation at events and conferences The successful individual will possess: Recent and knowledgeable Mortgage experience Prior experience within a business development/sales/advisory role in Mortgages Ideally hold the CeMap qualification
