The Role We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive new business opportunities and contribute to our strategic growth. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will identify and engage prospective clients, lead the sales process from initial contact to closing, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure our services align with market demands. What You’ll Do Identify and develop new business opportunities to grow Smart Managed Solutions’ client base. Create and implement targeted sales strategies to achieve revenue goals. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders. Manage the full sales cycle – from lead generation and proposal development to contract negotiation and closing. Work closely with the marketing team to align campaigns with sales objectives. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to drive strategic decisions. Present Smart Managed Solutions’ services and value proposition to potential clients. Collaborate with operational teams to ensure seamless service delivery post-sale. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline progress using CRM systems. What We’re Looking For Proven success in a business development or sales role, preferably within facilities management or building services. A strong ability to build relationships and negotiate deals. A proactive, results-driven approach with excellent communication and presentation skills. Commercial awareness and an understanding of financial and risk management. Experience managing the end-to-end sales process. Degree-level education is desirable but not essential.
