Your new role
To lead the Energy, Environmental & Sustainability processes, accreditations & reporting activities for the Group, moving us from a position ofpliance to one ofpetitive advantage in a constantly evolving, evermore detail-focussed and demanding global business arena through a clear and broad-based understanding of worldwide regulatory and legislative demands placed upon a manufacturing business.
The primary responsibility will be to monitor and drive the processes and outputs in the business, ensuring that we meet and exceed our sustainability goals, both mandatory and self-generated.
This will be achieved through leading edge data capture, management, analysis and reporting (both internal and external) around environmental and sustainability matters in industry,
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience as an Environmental and Sustainability Manager in the industrial sector in the UK, being able to deliver:
1. Maintain a clear understanding of all relevant current & uing legislation & regulations
2. Optimise reporting processes to meet & exceed requirements
3. Monitor & report on industry trends and developments
4. Engage with Industry, Trade orernment bodies to shape future standards & legislation
5. Define and deliver a clear transition plan working with both internal and external resources
6. Successfully influence your target audience and engage stakeholders of all levels
7. Gather, monitor & analyse data to feed the reporting process
8. Business reporting – SECR, ESOS, TCFD, SDS, Annual report, Sustainability Reports
9. Environmental & Sustainability accreditations – For both the business and its products
