Description Processing Assistant Full Time, Office Based Role Permanent Rotherham (S66) Are you looking for a new challenge in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? Join us in a full-time, permanent role as part of our Traditional Processing, On-demand, and Onscreen Team. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth delivery of qualifications, supporting a range of processing activities within the Qualification Processing Department. Your Role As a Processing Assistant, you will contribute to the efficient delivery of General Qualifications, Vocational Qualifications, and On-demand Qualifications. Your role will include diverse tasks such as processing examination papers, resolving results, monitoring examinations, managing candidate malpractice cases, and more. You will also have opportunities to lead seasonal staff during peak periods. Key Responsibilities: Process paper-based examination materials, ensuring results are accurately issued. Monitor onscreen and on-demand tests, including remote examinations. Communicate effectively with centres, examiners, and internal teams via phone, email, and video conferencing. Input data from marked scripts and oversee result resolutions. Escalate issues impacting service level agreements (SLA). Investigate candidate malpractice in line with JCQ guidelines. Essential Skills and Experience: Proficiency in MS Word, Excel (intermediate level), and Outlook. General office experience and a methodical approach to work. GCSE-level qualifications (Grade C/4 or above in English and Mathematics or equivalent). Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
