We are currently supporting our client in their search for a Maintenance Engineer with a Multi Skilled background to undertake general maintenance activities on both Electrical and Mechanical equipment.

Description
As Maintenance Engineer, you will be tasked with the following:
1. The primary purpose of this role is to support manufacturing asset/equipment weekly schedule, ensuring assets and equipment are available to operate at the required level of performance.
2. Support the transition from a reactive to a planned preventative maintenance culture.
3. Demonstrable knowledge of Manufacturing CNC equipment and tooling with competence in fault diagnostics, maintenance, and repair.
4. In-depth knowledge of PLC, Inverters, and Drives, with competence in fault diagnostics, maintenance, and repair.
5. Support adherence to Agility Maintenance (scheduled, planned, and reactive maintenance and repair plans) to maintain manufacturing equipment OEE.
6. Analyze failure modes to create preventative maintenance regimes.
7. Record accurate feedback on tasks completed, including spare parts used, time taken, and any safety, reliability, or performance concerns.
8. In the event of a breakdown or critical defect, use fault finding/diagnostic skills and provide leadership/support to carry out prompt reactive investigations.
9. Provide feedback on findings in a professional manner, report writing, and leading problem-solving activities to identify root cause and prevent re-occurrence.
10. Responsible for the delivery of robust reports/data integrity from asset inspections and maintenance; detailing any identified defects that cannot be rectified.
11. Contribute to any PPS reports associated with significant downtime.
12. This role is expected to be flexible to support manufacturing production requirements while maximizing production uptime and machinery performance.
Profile
A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:
1. Multi-skilled (preferably electrical bias) Technician/Engineer - HNC/HND Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
2. Experience in a similar factory/fabrication maintenance environment within a manufacturing maintenance background.
3. CNC machine maintenance experience advantageous (Haas, Matsuura, Unisign, DMG Mori).
4. Leadership/problem-solving skills using common problem-solving techniques.
5. Experience in working in a modern lean manufacturing environment.
Job Offer
A competitive salary range of up to £45,000 with overtime.
25 days holiday + bank holidays (rising with service to 28 days + bank holidays).
